Coffee

Coffee... mm mm a strong refreshing smacky coffee starts my day... with out that beverage, something is jus not complete.. when some thing is sought after or i'm analyzing, my coffee is my pal... when it rains at night, oh its the ultimate company! who doesn't like to gaze out of the window experiencing the mild sprinkle of the rain outside whilst sipping hot coffee from our mugs... or it be IM with friends around 2am at night having a coffee.. makes my thoughts drift to school days! coffee is best when i have to discuss something.. whether i drink it or not, the refreshing aroma itself makes the conversation long and good.. we might have started somewhere and would have digressed an gone else where.. and only when the coffee becomes cold or when the waiter comes to clean our table do we realize the passage of time.. coffee.. i can still feel its aroma thou i'm not sipping from a mug right now...

I Wonder!

When i look at the brilliant blue sky,
when i look at the flutter bye flutter by, i wonder
when i look at the lush green grass,
when i look at the little bug sitting on one of the blades, i wonder
when i look at the vast expanse of water,
when i look at the gentle jelly fish, i wonder
when i look at the caring bird,
when i look at the egg she's warming, i wonder
when i look at the great big elephant,
when i look at the little calf she's playing with, i wonder
when i look at the caring mother,
when i look at the sweet little infant she holds, i wonder

i wonder how intimately caring our dear Lord is
i wonder about how sweet his creations are
i wonder... i wonder...!!

Yoga

This blog is not gonna say yoga is this and that an ancient art preserved bla bla.. this is the usual stuff everyone can lay their hands on in any book or online.. im gonna pen stuff which one may feel is beneficiary.

wats is the purpose of doing yoga.. or why do ppl do yoga.. its not for peace of mind. peace comes in from each one's outlook.. only each of us can feel it from within, it cannot be given by another like a gift.. ok where yoga comes in is.. it makes you relaxed. basically because the movements are slow unlike most others where the movements are fast.. im not hinting here that other forms are bad.. im jus saying yoga is good.. doesnt make you tired makes you feel more fresh an filled with energy. when you are energetic, you can do more work then wat your doing right now.. hence comes a satisfaction and hence the peace of mind.

a note on losing or gaining weight.. this art works both ways.. if a person is flabby.. it tones up the muscles and makes you trim..on the contrary if a person is famished an skinny they'll feel more hungry and will tend to eat... all in all makes a person healthy (neither flabby nor skinny).

when to practice... you mite have heard that its best to do it in the early morning this and that.. the main reason being.. the early morning and the time of sunset the climate is naturally cool and breezy.. and since one tends to sweat while yoga is being practised, a lot of air is good... and for doing pranayama (breathing) a good flow of air is necessary. when the sun comes up.. the climate is hot, we sweat a lot and don't gain the intended amount of energy.

ok the intention of this blog was to actually reach out to you.. i'm conducting yoga classes. for details mail me at "purpleflowers_kr (at) yahoo(dot)co(dot)in"

the entire road saw us like we were nuts!

Yeah its one of my topsy turvy experiences again! me and 2 of ma frns walked out, and came near vani mahal.. we were supposed to get a share auto to anna nagar.

a little peek into the past... i'm used to getting share autos from rountana to nilgiris with my frnd who goes near the depot.. and 2 other friends go til mogappair.. so those 2 take the golden flats share auto and i take anna nagar west with the other girl..

this was imprinted in my head.
a share auto appears - the 2 with me dint know to read tamil (as if i'm a tamil pundit, yet i knew to join alphabets) - i read golden flats and murmered "Po da i wont come in ur auto" while waving No to the driver guy..
only after it picked speed all of us realised that all our destinations were before thirumangalam which either share auto would have to pass thru..
it took a minute for this fact to sink in.. an the 3 of us started giggling like mad at this.. and the passers by looked at us like as thou we lost our screws in the top floor :O only they dint know wat happened that we were laughing so hard :D

The Dustybin

One morning three workers gather in a clearing, bright and crisp. One mixes cement, water and necessary materials and the other two help him and they are all set to launch a brand new dustbin. They built it wide, round and detached from the ground for emptying purpose, set a board “use me” in front of it directing people to USE it and left the place. Afternoon shone, passers by littered the dustbin, some inside but mostly outside. The municipal garbage van cleaned up the place every night readying our hero to take fresh garbage every morning. On and on, as the days rolled by, our hero stood unflinching in the dust, heat, noise, rain and other disturbances quietly accepting and putting up with the garbage thrown in and around it.

One fine morning two men walking past our hero, complained about how unclean he was and how he was a breeding place for mosquitoes and flies thus aiding the spread of diseases. Our hero wanted to desperately shout, “I ain’t the one aiding the spread of diseases, U ARE!! Its not my fault if you people don’t use me properly! I don’t have hands to clean up the mess you create around me!” but alas, in vain.
Morning turned to noon and slowly dusk set in. Whilst our hero awaited his cleaning committee, his ears picked up the distant sobs of a woman, and stood silent waiting trying to pick out his options from the roadside florist, the maid of the big house and the aaya working in the school.

Finally our hero spotted, further down the street around a corner a young mother, with an infant in her arms. There was something about her that struck our hero as very odd. Sobbing gently she chides the child:

Fate has played its role,
I’m forced to part with my soul,
You are to reach a goal,
In this evil world so foul,

She then raised herself and walked towards our hero continuing:

I part with you with a heavy heart,
Leaving you in the world which taught me a lot,
Hoping that you will face the strife,
May God bless you my little child.

Our hero was able to hear the increasing pitch of the sobs as she slowly neared him. The wailing stopped suddenly. Our hero looked up to find the lady bending over him with the child and in a trice quickly drops the baby on our hero’s lap and flees the place.
Our hero shouts “hey! Hey! Hey! Lady! Come here! Your baby is crying! Come back!!” but in vain. So he carefully aligns himself to make it more comfortable for the little one despite the dirt and awaits the cleaning committee hoping that some angelic soul will come to rescue our hero’s new possession.
A distant rumble pacifies the wild heartbeat of our hero and “tada” the cleaning committee has arrived. As expected, the members express grief and shock on seeing the baby whilst cleaning the place. Amidst all this, one of the ‘gang’ pipes in “I haven’t had a baby so far”. So saying, he lifted the baby from our hero’s lap and remarks, “My wife will be extremely glad to keep this baby and raise it.” Our hero beamed in happiness for his prayer was answered! He praises the almighty requesting for more of such blessed souls on earth!!

I wanted More!

One fine afternoon, i settled with some more. Mom called out "there is enough and more for everyone so help yourself." I wanted lots of more that day so i kept helping myself to more and more. At a point i had taken so much more that there was very little more left. mom hurried to me and snapped, "how much more will you drink? leave some more for us." but since i was "in all ears" i kept gulping more of more that at one point, no more was left. So i had to run to make some more for every one wanted more just like i wanted more!!!

sssssssmmmmmoooookkkkeeeeeennnnnn!!!!!

Some one suggested that if we were to remove the RAM chip and place it again, the speed will be better (innocent me i believed it completely). so one fine day, i settled with screw drivers and nuts to RAM the system. I removed the Ram chip and wiped it clean.. it was slightly dusty inside the CPU also.. so i dusted the interior clean (CPU cleaning and interior decoration) then comes the actual movie

lights camera action::
move 1: i took the RAM chip
move 2: i peeped inside the CPU box
move 3: i found the socket (yay)
move 4: i place the chip in the socket
move 5: i put the socket clips
move 6: i switched the power ON...

CLIMAX::
PUFF PUFF PUFF smoke comes out of the CPU... hurriedly i took a look inside... patha, the RAM chip was fixed upside down, it was melting and emitting smoke.. semma state!!! dad mom all shocked.. NO reaction absolutely!!!

HAPPY ENDING::

A pinch of heat and a dash of smoke!

God save the readers! :)
Ok this is the first ever time i'm blogging... not that now i know how to.. jus that i thot i'd giv it a try :) don mind the texting language used ;)

To start with, i'm penning wat happened at home yesterday! me and the microwave were in our best terms... me and the oven were cook sm popcorn cauz i was bugged from staring at my book which was supposedly studying! i put all wat i found in the kitchen rack into the "plastica container" closed it and stuffed it inside after removing the glass base ( i forgot that plastic melts in the exitement)

in 4 mins time... a little smoke started coming out.. which i realised only after the anger and confusion in my mom's face struck me... we cut the current and opened the oven...

Puff!!! large volumes of smoke emanate from inside -- mommy's face wild -- 2 mins time -- she gets the glove and pulls the container out -- we see carbon black sticking in the base of the plastic container ans smoke is still coming -- melted plastic sticking to the base of the oven and the container looks like melted cheese on pizza (yuck) (yumm - imagined) -- at this minute of climax comes the major twist -- mom burst out laughing trying to pull the melting plasitc out of the oven! -- me in super state of shock not knowing whether to join or to continue the "shocked" act or change expression??? -- then we took out the tripod kinda thing out and tried pulling the plastic from it -- mega shock when even that broke :O
